Lightly Row

A couple of weeks ago in violin lessons, Claire finally got to move from Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (TTLS) and its many variations to a new song: Lightly Row. Yay! Not that there is anything wrong with TTLS but it sure it nice to hear a new tune coming from Claire these days. I think the new song has renewed her interest in violin, which is so good to see. That or maybe just the brighter days and warmer weather. Here are a few pictures from her lesson yesterday.

You can see Ren in the background of this photo. He always plays – sometimes quietly, othertimes quite loudly! – while Claire works with Adam.

Quite often during class, Adam will play something and then Claire must repeat it. I like Claire’s intense focus in the photo below as Adam plays a few notes.

And then it’s Claire’s turn:

  • She is SO focused and beautiful looking, playing the violin.

You can tell she enjoys it. and yes, thank goodness for brighter days and more spring like weather. 🙂

  • I love that last photo! I am starting Lilah in violin in the Fall, hope I can handle the noise! She does look like she enjoys it, with that very tiny violin.ReplyCancel
