This is the adorable second dress that Beth couldn’t resist. As soon as I saw it, I understood completely!

The crabapple blossoms were outstanding this year, and I knew when I saw this dress that I had to try to incorporate the blossoms somehow.

The next few photos, with the way I’ve centered the girls, don’t conform to the “rule of thirds” for composition. I tried cropping it differently but I kept coming back to this. For some reason, I think it works because of the stunning blossoming tree behind them. What do you think?

In the next one, I love how Ava is holding her dress with one hand – so ladylike!

And lastly, a pic of the girls in the golden evening sun, one of the last of our photo shoot:

Stay tuned for more Ava and Claire pix!

  • I love the composition of the first shot… sometimes it is okay to center subjects! The background is amazing. And Beth… great choice for the dresses.ReplyCancel

  • I love the blossoms in the background against their dark hair.

  • I adore how Claire has her eyes closed in some of these shots. It's so obvious how comfortable she is with her BFF. And I love blossoms, especially cherry blossom.

    Amazing photogrpahy and talent Monica!ReplyCancel
